CPA Tax Manager

As the first dedicated tax hire, the full-time CPA Tax Manager will own and scale the company's tax function, manage compliance and reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate tax requirements into products and operations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Oversee federal, state, and local income tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions Directly manage in-house filings and reporting, including state fantasy sports tax and customer tax information reporting Build scalable tax processes and internal controls to support the growth of the business Required qualifications 5+ years of progressive tax experience, including public accounting and in-house corporate tax CPA with a strong technical foundation in federal and state income tax; Big Four experience preferred Experience in reviewing complex datasets and reconciling tax calculations Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-related business needs Detail-oriented with strong judgment about risk and priorities in a fast-paced environment
