Business Continuity Analyst

Who You’re Working With We are looking for a Nashville‑based Business Continuity Analyst to join our team. The role works closely with multiple areas of the business and technology to understand business goals and solution needs, provide robust resiliency planning, and build relationships with business partners to achieve program objectives. The analyst is an expert on business continuity best practices such as BIA and BC planning/testing, and supports crisis management program processes and incident response. What You’re Going to Do Negotiate, work independently, and solve and make decisions in program governance and enterprise crisis management. Plan, update, test, and train on BC plans and conduct risk assessments (supplier, proximity, BIA). Engage business partners, including senior leadership, on BC goals and objectives, obtaining buy‑in and ensuring delivery of results for annual resiliency objectives. Liaise with IT to ensure appropriate DR planning is in place to support critical business functions in the event of a disaster. Perform in‑depth Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and risk assessments for current and emerging business areas. Develop and drive BC awareness efforts and communicate best practices and responsibilities to business partners. Ensure BCP testing is completed as scheduled and document findings and resiliency gaps. Develop remediation strategies for significant gaps identified in testing. Prepare and monitor detailed program metrics for reporting to senior management and internal governance committees. Support crisis management response, including team training, plan updates, testing, and event response. What We’re Looking For BA or BS in Emergency / Disaster Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related area. 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Resiliency and Emergency Management. Professional certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, or equivalent. Knowledge of business continuity best‑practice standards (e.g., ISO22301, DRI) and relevant regulations. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills. Availability for weekend and evening assignments and the capacity to respond during off‑hours.
