Job Description MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS Certifications At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care PCU/step‑down setting Other requirements as determined by the client facility Duties & Responsibilities Monitor and assess patients who are not unstable enough to need ICU care. Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect changes, enabling intervention of life‑threatening or emergency situations. Administer complex medications that may require titration based on patient vital signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide continuous patient care. Document patient status and care interventions, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
