Senior Staff Accountant

Oakridge Staffing is a growing technology staffing firm serving financial services, hedge funds, and technology clients nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, consultant payroll and invoicing, and multi-state compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and billing analyses
• Oversee consultant timesheets, invoicing, and payroll via ATS and ADP
• Ensure accurate billing and payroll data in CRM and databases.
• Maintain compliance with multi-state payroll, unemployment, and workers’ comp
• Support consultant onboarding/offboarding, tax, and insurance documentation
• Coordinate with HR on benefits, terminations, and employment verifications

Qualifications

• Prior payroll, onboarding and client invoicing experience
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Solid understanding of multi-state payroll and tax compliance

Ideal: 5+ years of accounting experience;
staffing or professional services preferred
