Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of new business by identifying unique opportunities in the Stamford market.
Evaluate the specific risk profiles of our clients to design bespoke insurance solutions that offer meaningful protection.
Manage your own portfolio of accounts with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.
Participate in local networking events and professional gatherings to elevate the presence of The Atlantic District.
Coordinate directly with underwriters and carrier partners to ensure competitive terms for our policyholders.
Provide ongoing education to clients regarding their coverage and any shifts in their insurance needs.
Requirements
Active Property and Casualty Insurance License for the state of Connecticut.
Three or more years of experience managing a book of commercial or personal lines business.
Strong command of agency management systems and digital client management platforms.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex renewals and prospect new partnerships.
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related discipline.
Understanding of regional market trends and carrier underwriting guidelines.
