Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate must intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Responsibilities Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicate product features and benefits. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports according to Company Policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education/Experience : High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills : Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands : Stand and walk during shifts; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step up a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities : None. Work Environment : Retail store environment; limited travel. Physical Appearance : Present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance; follow retailer dress code requirements. Language Skills : English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required depending on business necessity.
