Material Handler

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport large materials throughout the facility. Load, unload, stage, and move raw materials and finished products. Pull and prepare materials for production orders and customer pickups. Assist with shipping and receiving activities. Ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate departments in a timely manner. Maintain accurate inventory and material locations. Perform daily forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures. Keep work areas organized and clean. Support other departments and assist with general shop duties as needed. Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping personnel to ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Transport large materials throughout the facility.

Essential skills include:

• Knowledge of production processes.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks.

Additional skills and qualifications include:

• Experience in a manufacturing background.
• Ability to assist in the production area as needed.

Job type and location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Pomona, CA.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
