Safety Manager

Role Description: The Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the continuously growing Mission Critical Datacenter Industry. This role oversees workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices across electrical construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site safety inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, and leading safety meetings and toolbox talks. The Safety Manager develops and delivers safety training, updates safety procedures and documentation, and collaborates with project managers and field teams to integrate safety into planning and execution. The role also involves investigating incidents and near-misses, maintaining safety records and reports, and promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety, with the ability to apply safety principles in electrical construction environments. Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) program development and implementation, including regulatory compliance and risk assessment. Proficiency in Safety Training, including creating and delivering training materials for diverse field and office teams. Strong skills in Accident Investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant safety standards applicable to electrical contracting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach personnel at all levels. Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate safety records and reports. Experience in construction or industrial environments; electrical contracting experience is highly beneficial. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA 30) preferred. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
