Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of routine and more complex laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for validity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments undergo regular preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in specimen acquisition and manage sample preparation for further testing as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation, provide training for new staff or interns, and uphold the quality standards of the laboratory.
• Ensure a tidy and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Attain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
