Clinical Nurse - Specialty

Schedule: Flexible to days/evenings/nights & weekends

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 11 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• RN license from any state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (to be completed within one year of hire)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (to be completed within one year of hire)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification (to be completed within one year of hire)
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (to be completed within one year of hire)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (to be completed within six months of hire)
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 and Patient Sitter Competency Training (to be completed within three months of hire)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform various nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments.
• Work independently in completing assigned tasks and following physician orders and nursing policies.
• Provide support to individuals of all ages and their families.
• Maintain current certifications as required for the role.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation is held every two weeks.
• Exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
• Housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to start date.
