Virtual Cardiologist

Jackson and Coker is seeking one to two Interventional Cardiologists for a locum tenens opportunity in Montana, starting ASAP through June 2026. This role involves 7-10 days per month of coverage, including daily duties, responding to ED patients, and after-hours and weekend call. The position offers an engaging environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care within a PCI Chest Pain Center. Practice Info PCI Chest Pain Center Support staff includes Cath Lab Teams and Hospital IP Teams Patient demographic: Adults & Geriatric Average STEMI Cases: Approximately 1 per week Admissions handled by hospitalists EMR: Epic Responsibilities Perform Interventional Cardiology procedures Perform PCI procedures Conduct Stress Testing Respond to ED patients Handle Echo & EKG reads when general cardiologist is out Compensation ~ Weekly Direct Deposit Benefits Top Rated Malpractice Insurance In-House Travel Agency Shift & Schedule ~7–10 days per month ~8 AM – 5 PM (daily duties & responding to ED patients) ~ On-call after hours & 24-hour on-call weekends ~ Day calls: 20–30 ~ Night calls: 0–5 Requirements Board Certification required BLS & ACLS required Montana Medical License – highly preferred Impella preferred
