Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is based in a healthcare facility located in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role involves providing evaluation and treatment services for a diverse patient population within the inpatient unit, supporting recovery and functional independence. The position offers a collaborative work environment with a focus on patient-centered care. Job Details Schedule: Shift hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with start times flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. A minimum of 40 hours per week is required. Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire Physical Therapy License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications: Vestibular experience is preferred but not required. Float: All inpatient units as well as the emergency department are covered by this department. Additional Information The inpatient unit has approximately 330 beds with a patient ratio of about 10 patients per 8-hour shift. The unit utilizes Sunrise and Allscripts documentation systems. One weekend shift per month is required in addition to full-time hours. The team is dedicated and collaborative, with staff experienced in multiple settings. Patients with cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic diagnoses are commonly seen, with optional vestibular care. The department employs basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts.
