Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $12.77 - $18.40 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Job Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean and maintained; complete daily vehicle inspections before operating. Maintain secure storage of delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate any problems or special customer needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc., as assigned. May occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. Qualifications Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Required: Strong interpersonal communication skills. Required: Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Required: Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system. Required: Legally required state driver’s license and company‑mandated driving eligibility. Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts. Desired: Ability to operate other light store equipment. Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
