Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients, including comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs. Plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing care, incorporating teaching, counseling, and direct physical care. Evaluate patient responses and progress toward outcomes to adjust care plans accordingly. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care. Offer reassurance and support to families, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in every interaction.
