The Opportunity As a Financial Advisor at Sterling Legacy Advisors, you will serve as a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and business owners, helping them make informed decisions across the full spectrum of their financial lives. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining deep, long-term client relationships. Conducting comprehensive financial reviews and identifying opportunities to improve clients’ financial outcomes. Developing and presenting sophisticated financial plans tailored to each client’s circumstances and objectives. Providing guidance on investment management, retirement planning, wealth preservation, risk management, and other areas of financial planning. Monitoring client portfolios and financial plans and making recommendations as circumstances, markets, and objectives change. Working collaboratively with other members of the Sterling Legacy team to deliver a coordinated client experience. Communicating complex financial concepts clearly and confidently to high-net-worth clients and families. Maintaining thorough, accurate, and compliant client documentation. Staying current on investment strategies, financial planning techniques, regulations, and industry developments. Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm. Who We're Looking For Must have appropriate securities licensing, including an active Series 7 and either Series 66 or Series 63 & 65. 1-5+ years of experience as a financial advisor, wealth manager, financial planner, or related client-facing role. A demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships. Strong knowledge of investments, portfolio construction, retirement planning, and comprehensive financial planning. Must be willing and able to work 5 days a week out of our NYC office Experience working with affluent or high-net-worth individuals and families is highly valued. The ability to independently analyze complex financial situations and develop thoughtful recommendations. Strong communication and presentation skills. A high level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail. Is This You? Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 annual base salary, plus commission and a discretionary bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
