Hospitalist Opportunity in Red Bud, IllinoisQualifications:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine.Valid medical license to practice in Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.Strong clinical skills in infectious disease diagnosis and management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Inpatient Care (Hospitalist):Serve as a hospitalist providing medical care to adult inpatients/step-down status as part of a shared call or rotation schedule.Admit, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients from the affiliated hospital.Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary rounds.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Schedule: 7:00am to 7:00pm (7 on/7 off schedule) - 175 shifts/yearCompensation and Benefits:Competitive compensation + opportunity for up to $20,000 quality bonus ($141.66/hour)Sign on bonus $36,000 (3-year contract term)Residency stipend availableRelocation assistance up to $15,000Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics.
