Responsibilities
- Remove existing flooring materials and prepare subfloors for installation.
- Cut, fit, stretch, and secure carpet using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Install carpet padding, tack strips, transitions, and related materials.
- Load, unload, and transport carpet, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment before, during, and after installations.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation schedules and project requirements.
- Address installation issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
- Complete installation paperwork and obtain customer sign-offs when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in carpet installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work
