Material Coordinator

Responsibilities Coordinate the receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units. Ensure proper sequencing and prioritization of items for inspection, accountability, and storage. Track status of turn-ins frominitialreceipt through final disposition. Support high-volume, mass turn-in operations by managing workflow and resource allocation. Review andvalidatesupply documents such as DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts, and condition codes. Ensuretimelyandaccuratedata entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP. Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity. Support audit readiness bymaintaining accurateand compliant material records. Coordinate with warehouse staff for storage, location management, and retrieval of equipment. Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and segregation of serviceable, unserviceable, and HAZMAT items. Monitor availability and safe use of material handling equipment (MHE). Work with transportation staff to schedule and track incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare cargo movement requests, shipping documentation, and load plansin accordance with Army and DTR standards. Ensure accountability during loading, movement, and offloading of equipment. Assistunit supply personnel during turn-in to resolve documentation discrepancies. Serve as a liaison between contractor site staff, Army units, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Provide responsive customer service to supported units whilemaintaining compliance. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; however, equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted. Experience: 3–5 years oflogistics, supply, or materiel management experience. Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience in equipment turn-in or supply support activities (SSA) strongly preferred. Army supply regulations: AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1. Armylogisticssystems: GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, TC-AIMS II. Familiarity with Army documentation and condition coding requirements. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, interpret, and process Army supply documentation. Ability tooperate or coordinate safe use of MHE. Effective communication and coordination skills with Army units and contractor staff. Must be able to obtain andmaintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility. Basicproficiencyin the English language (reading and writing). Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results. Must have a REAL ID. Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance. Employees maybe requiredto perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to travel within the United States asrequired. This position requires travel up to 25% of the time. Physical Demands & Working Environment: Must be able to lift upto 50 lbs. and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments. Must also meet all physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high, or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions.
