Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Endoscopy Laboratory is available in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing procedures within the endoscopy unit, supporting main operating rooms, cardiovascular operating rooms, and intensive care units. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Boise, Idaho
• Schedule: Four (4) days per week, 9-hour shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital endoscopy experience; comfortable with sedation including pushing propofol; experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations; at least 1 year of endoscopy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with EPIC electronic medical record system and collaborating with interventional radiology for certain cases.
• Additional Information: The facility has a radius rule of 50 miles; candidates' permanent addresses must be submitted to confirm compliance before profile review. May be asked to participate in a holiday call rotation.
• Responsibilities: Supporting endoscopy procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP with stent placement or removal, pancreatic biospy, lung biopsy, and spy glass procedures. Assisting with sedation administration and patient monitoring throughout the procedure.
• Supplies and Staffing: Support from charge nurses, lead endoscopy technician, certified nursing assistants, and anesthesia providers.
