Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with one Saturday per month at the hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Deliver physical therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with the more pressing need being inpatient coverage
• Educate patients on how to prevent or manage their conditions to achieve long-term health benefits
• Develop fitness- and wellness-oriented programs to support healthier and more active lifestyles
• Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems (ReDoc/NetHealth, MedHost)
• Comply with all facility requirements, including fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Physical Therapist license (pending NM licensure considered — must be included with submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Both inpatient and outpatient experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with ReDoc/NetHealth and MedHost EMR platforms
• Experience working in a travel or multi-setting therapy role
