Low Voltage Superintendent - Louisville

Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. We are currently hiring a Low Voltage Superintendent for local and traveling roles in our Louisville, KY office. This position is based out of our Louisville, KY location with opportunities for travel nation wide.Requirements:5+ years of experience installing and terminating optical fiber cable, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5E and coax cable in commercial and/or industrial environmentsAbility to install, terminate, program, and troubleshoot access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV systems in commercial and industrial environmentsKnowledge of NEC and ANSI/TIA standardsExperience programming and commissioning new systems, as well as performing customer trainingMust be able to read blueprints, specifications, and contract documentsCertifications with any of the following manufacturers preferred but not required.AvigilonS2- LenelDSXGallagherIdenticardPaxtonRS2Special requirements:Certification with Avigilon or S2-Lenel strongly preferredBICSI Certification desired but not requiredIn 1977 Amteck was founded in Central Kentucky with the belief that growth only comes by listening and responding to both clients and employees.
