Financial Accountant

Located in the heart of Anderson, South Carolina, AnMed is a dynamic, not-for-profit health system dedicated to delivering exceptional care with compassion, innovation, and integrity. Summary Responsible for reconciling and reporting daily cash for AnMed. Also responsible for monthly investment reporting. Responsibilities Prepare Weekly Cash Report. Reconcile all bank and investment accounts for AnMed Health. Acts as a liaison with banking institutions. Reconcile accounts and act as contact between Accounting and all departments handling cash (deposits) to resolve differences between the bank, the GL and the Patient Accounting system. Prepare Journal Entries for AnMed Health and its affiliates according to the master schedule of JE’s (including but not limited to; Cash, Investments, Physician Practices, Iva, Hartwell, FSA). Prepare Account Recs for AnMed Health and its affiliates according to the master schedule of Account Recs (including, but not limited to those for Cash, Investments, and Family Medicine). Prepare monthly Investment Summary. Prepare unclaimed property reports for the State. Assist with yearly audit. Qualifications BS degree in Accounting or related field required. 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
