Come and join the team at Rancho Seco Care Center, located in beautiful Galt, California! This lovely, 99 bed skilled nursing facility is in need of full time LVNs for days, evenings and night, for 8-hour shifts. The team at Rancho Seco prides itself on a cohesive culture atmosphere that promotes growth and innovation. The ideal candidate we hope to join our team would be a Licensed Vocational Nurse, licensed in the state of California with the capacity to work unencumbered, with a love of the elderly and vulnerable populations. New nursing graduates are welcome to apply, extensive training extended for nursing newcomers. Your duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, skin and wound treatments, behavioral management, collaboration with practitioners, processing and execution of orders, resident assessment and oversite and guidance to CNAs.

Positions Available:

• Full-Time - All shifts (AM, PM & NOC)
• On-Call - All shifts (AM, PM & NOC)

Qualifications:

• Current licensure in California as an LVN
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

The Charge Nurse is responsible to the Director of Nursing, and is to be clinically competent; delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

To excel in this role, you should enjoy working with people, have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
