They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and maintain a positive attitude. They stand for long periods of time and help with customer questions and needs. What you’ll do You play a major role in how customers feel when they leave the store. You may be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. A smile, greeting, and thank you are essential. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You may need to scan items, explain prices, bag items properly, count cash back, and keep your area clean, juggling several tasks quickly.
