You'll practice big-city medicine with a small-city feel.As a Hand Orthopedic Surgeon at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Other orthopedic sub specialties covered in the group include fellowship trained specialists in operative sports medicine, adult reconstruction, hand and elbow, foot and ankle, hip preservation, pediatrics, musculoskeletal trauma, podiatry and non-surgical sports medicine.In this ortho hand practice, you will work alongside a collegial group of 15 physicians that also include 3 traumatologists and 17 advanced practice providers (APPs).Clinical PracticeWorking full time, 40 hours/week at the Rocky Mountain Clinic, St. Mary's Hospital and Grand Valley Surgical Center (ASC)You can anticipate 2 days per week in clinic and 2 days per week OR surgical time; patient-preferred hours are encouragedHand call requirements but you will not be obligated to take general ortho callsComprehensive treatment for most hand conditionAn ideal candidate will have successfully completed fellowship training in hand surgery. In addition, have experience in brachial plexus and free flap procedures (i.e. microvascular, peripheral nerves).How we'll support youBenefits: We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package.
