On-Site Psychiatrist - Weekends

Job Summary On‑site Weekend Psychiatrist providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care in crisis and ongoing treatment settings. Schedule Every weekend or every other weekend. Compensation Up to $210 per hour (1099). Location Kansas City, MO. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders. Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed. Create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions. Perform chart audits, peer reviews, and meetings; manage provider relationships as required. Maintain up‑to‑date medical records in compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care. Protect patient confidentiality and audit files to confirm accurate documentation of all services. Collaborate closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other staff to provide integrated and coordinated care. Provide immediate psychiatric care in crises such as suicide attempts or acute episodes, working proactively to prevent incidents. Comply with applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards, and contract requirements. Qualifications MO medical license required. Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required). Board certified or eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry. Valid and unrestricted DEA registration. Proficiency in using telemedicine technologies for remote patient care. Preferred collaboration with PMHNPs. Pay Range $190–$210 per hour (Kansas City, MO). #J-18808-Ljbffr MindCare Solutions
