Medical Assistant – Urgent Care – Full-Time Position – Raleigh LocationWe're seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our Orthopaedic Urgent Care team. In this fast-paced environment, you'll assist providers with patient evaluations, support urgent care procedures, and deliver hands-on patient care and education.Key Responsibilities:Greet and room patients, obtain chief complaint, vital signs, and document accuratelyAssist providers with patient evaluations, urgent care procedures, and examsIdentify and communicate abnormal findings or changes in patient conditionApply casts, splints, and wraps; perform wound care and dressing changesRemove sutures/staples and provide patient education on injury care and recoveryPrepare and administer injections under provider supervisionCoordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up careDocument patient communications, clinical notes, and orders in the EHRSupport patient flow in a high-volume urgent care setting, including managing wait times and expectationsClean, sterilize, and maintain clinical equipment and treatment areasStock exam rooms and ensure clinical supplies are readily availableAssist with training and onboarding of urgent care staff as neededEnsure compliance with OSHA and clinic safety protocolsRequirements:Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced clinical settingStrong critical thinking and organizational skillsCollaborative team player with excellent communicationExperience in applying casts/splints and administering injections preferredKnowledge of electronic medical records systems a plusExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgencyReliable follow-through to support team workflow and deadlinesSchedule:Full-time, 12-hour shiftsEvenings and weekend coverage required based on clinic needsBenefits:Full medical, dental, and vision coverage with FSA and HSA optionsRetirement plan with employer contributionsCompany-paid life insurancePaid Time Off programCompensation:$19.50–25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
