Senior Engineer - Product Engineering

Senior Engineer supporting sustaining engineering activities for released medical devices at a medical device manufacturer. The role involves investigating product issues, implementing design improvements, and coordinating regulatory compliance across cross-functional teams in a hybrid Phoenix-based position.
Responsibilities
- Lead sustaining engineering projects including design changes, line extensions, and product improvements
- Investigate product, process, and packaging issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate design control, risk management, validation, and regulatory activities for product changes
- Partner with Quality teams to evaluate complaints and resolve performance concerns
- Conduct engineering studies and validation testing to support design and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years engineering experience in regulated industry
- Experience with product investigations, design changes, or validation activities
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and design control requirements
- Experience with CAPA, complaint investigations, or post-market support
- Statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving skills
Compensation: $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
