Job Overview

Vallely Mitola Ryan specializes in the representation of clients in the commercial & residential mortgage industry. Our areas of focus include foreclosure, bridge lending, mortgage acquisition/sale (performing/non-performing mortgages), commercial buy/sell and loan workouts. The experience of the attorneys and paralegals at Vallely Mitola Ryan include the participation in well over twenty-five thousand foreclosures, thousands of bridge lending transactions, and countless purchase and sale transactions of both mortgages and real property. We do not focus on cookie cutter solutions or useless litigation, rather, our only focus is the best result for our clients through any available avenues.

We are a fast growing law firm in the field of real estate and are currently focused on seeking individuals experienced in lender default services and litigation. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain caseload from inception to conclusion

· Review and finalize motions/documents for submission to court

· Court appearance for settlement/mediation conferences, status conferences and oral argument

· Drafting of motion papers in litigated matters

Skills:

· Excellent written and communication skills

· Experience with compliance requirements in the default mortgage litigation

· Organized with the ability to prioritize case work in an effective manner

· Ability to apply legal research in complex litigation matters

· Knowledge of New York Supreme Court procedures

· Detail oriented

Salary:

· Starting at $125,000 and commensurate with experience
