The Faith Babirye Veterinary Surgery & Diagnostics Center is seeking an experienced, licensed Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team.

We are a surgery-focused practice providing orthopedic procedures including TPLO, fracture repair, advanced soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging such as CT, digital radiography, and C-arm fluoroscopy. Our team works in a structured, supportive environment where technicians play a key role in patient care and surgical success.

Many of our patients are referred after limited options elsewhere. We are committed to providing affordable surgical care without sacrificing quality, compassion, or trust, within a structured, collaborative, and professional environment.

We are looking for someone who is: • A Licensed Veterinary Technician with 3+ years of experience • Reliable, ethical, self-driven team player • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset • Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring, surgery, venipuncture, and diagnostics • Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day • Interested in a long-term position

Responsibilities include: • Assisting in orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries • Surgical prep (IV catheter placement, intubation, clipping, scrubbing) • Maintaining sterile technique • Monitoring anesthesia • Assisting with CT, radiographs, and fluoroscopy • Post-operative care and recovery monitoring • Lab work, medications, and IV fluids • Accurate medical records and patient care support
