Manufacturing Engineer

Unique opportunity for an ambitious Engineer interested in helping launch and shape a brand new manufacturing facility. Established company opening a new on NW side of Indy. You’d be the first Engineer to join the local team. Put your stamp on the environment with super varied responsibilities and the freedom to own and drive work forward.
Opening for a Manufacturing Engineer in a plastics manufacturing environment, supporting new equipment installations, design of manufacturing processes, commissioning new technology, production support, continuous improvement and process optimization, and more. This role report directly to the plant manager, but will also have an offsite engineering team and skilled leadership to support you (you won’t be left on an island). Plastic product manufacturing. However, specific experience with existing processes is not required. We just need someone willing to learn new processes and training will be provided. You will not be micromanaged, and won’t be pigeonholed into repetitive tasks. Chance to gain exposure to a wide range of processes, equipment, technology, and leadership.
Salary target of $80,000 - $90,000. Excellent benefits start on day 1.
REQUIRED:
- BS in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering related experience
- Desire to wear lots of different hats and support a wide range of tasks in your work.
DESIRED:
- Plastics Manufacturing experience (and with related injection molding equipment and technology)
