Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter to support hiring needs for a manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for production, warehouse, and other plant positions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple openings, and recruiting candidates for hourly positions. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to fill positions quickly while maintaining hiring standards are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for manufacturing and production positions.
• Source candidates through online job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, and other recruiting methods.
• Recruit for production workers, machine operators, assemblers, material handlers, warehouse associates, and other plant positions.
• Review applications, conduct phone screenings and interviews, and evaluate candidates based on job requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, communicate job offers, and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Complete onboarding paperwork and coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and employment eligibility verification as required.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet ongoing staffing demands.
• Partner with plant supervisors and management to understand hiring needs, staffing priorities, and workforce requirements.
• Monitor recruiting activity and follow up with candidates to reduce no-shows and improve retention.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure hiring documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Provide a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-up.
• Assist with additional human resources and administrative duties related to recruitment as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting or staffing experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or high-volume hourly recruiting experience is a plus.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple job openings and meet hiring deadlines.
• Comfortable using job boards, applicant tracking systems, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong follow-up skills and the ability to engage candidates from initial contact through their first day of work.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with plant management.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing hiring priorities.
