Pet Groomer
Falls Road Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time experienced pet groomer to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Potomac, MD.
You'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end grooming care for our valued patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of bathing, trimming and styling pets to breed standards and comfort, to support services including maintaining a clean, safe grooming environment and communicating clearly with pet owners and clinical staff.

Professional grooming experience required. Fear free handling experience preferred. Has 2 years of animal care experience. Has general knowledge of breed-specific cuts/styles. Must have weekend availability. Self-motivated. Excellent communication and organization skills.

Some benefits shown are only for full-time team members who work 30 hours or more per week. Certain benefits may be subject to waiting periods or length of service requirements.
Our groomers earn a base hourly rate starting at $18/hour, based on experience, skill level and location. In addition to hourly pay, groomers are eligible for commission, which is calculated as a percentage of the grooming services they provide. Commission rates are negotiable and performance-based, meaning that base compensation may increase with factors such as volume, quality of work and client retention. We provide full details on our commission structure during the interview process.
