Purchasing Coordinator
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm

SUMMARY: Provides administrative and clerical support to the Office Manager by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibility for assisting in activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for establishment.
• Updates internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Setup new vendors and maintain vendor files.
• Performs vendor / supplier evaluations yearly.
• Enters vendor invoices into computer daily.
• Tracks warranty items to include follow up dates for repairs, warranties, credits or return to stock products.
• Directs calls as appropriate or takes message.
• Files and maintains filing systems for vendors / suppliers.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Serves as back up for sales invoicing.
• Serves as back up for receptionist.
• Data entry: customer related.
• Revises auto-builds and MYOB.
• Assists administrative and sales staff, as necessary.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School graduate required.
• Proficient, courteous telephone skills.
• Computer skills or training included but not limited to SAGE 100, MYOB, contact management, word processing (MS Word), and spreadsheets (MS Excel).
