Operating Room Registered Nurse - Contract Assignment

Location: Torrance, CA Pay: $2,500+ per week Contract Length: 8-13 weeks with potential extension

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support our partner facility in Torrance, California . This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a surgical environment and are committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout the perioperative process: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all surgical safety protocols
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes
• Document all care accurately within the EMR system
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and support staff

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS (CNOR preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts consistently throughout the contract

Schedule & Compensation

• $2,500+ weekly
• 8-13 week contract
