Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary: The College of Professional Studies is Villanova's academic home for adult and part-time learners pursuing degree completion, certificates, and continuing education. The Admissions and Outreach Student Worker provides day to day support across the CPS admissions and outreach teams. This role covers a range of responsibilities including: connecting with prospective students and CPS Partner Organizations, preparing materials for recruitment events, strategic communications, event planning, among others. It is a strong fit for a student exploring careers in sales, marketing, communications, or higher education, offering hands on experience with customer relationship management systems, event execution, and direct outreach to prospective students.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities Communications Help set up communications tied to events, application deadlines, and other key dates Audit website pages for accuracy and flag outdated content Prospective Student Engagement Assist with answering incoming phone calls Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls to answer questions and direct them to the right resources Inventory and Collateral Oversee admissions and outreach supplies, track quantities, and recommend when reorders are needed Assemble application boxes and organize outgoing mailings Event Support Print name tags, organize and print event materials, and prepare packets for on and off campus events Assist with logistics for on-campus events, including room reservations, food orders, and setup Enter leads from events into Slate Trips, particularly during high volume periods when on the spot entry is not possible Administrative Support Serve as a liaison with the Bursar's Office as needed for checks, monthly reporting, and vendor forms Complete research assignments such as identifying partner organizations, developing outreach lists, and gathering contact information Qualifications Currently enrolled Villanova student in good standing Interest in sales, marketing, communications, or a career in higher education Comfortable speaking with prospective students by phone in a professional and welcoming manner
