Senior Accountant

A growing, privately held specialty products company is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting functions and help build a stronger, more scalable financial infrastructure.

This is an ideal role for someone with 4–7 years of experience who wants real ownership, exposure to process improvement, and the opportunity to grow alongside a company that is actively investing in its finance function.

What You'll Do:

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and all supporting schedules
• Assist with accounts payable entry and related transactional accounting tasks
• Prepare financial statements and support internal reporting needs
• Support external audit requests and compliance requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls
• Partner with FP&A and leadership on reporting needs and financial insights

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA preferred or actively in progress
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
• ERP system experience required
• Experience in a growing or PE-backed environment a plus
