We are looking for a skilled cook that will satisfy our customers, in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Setting up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Rolling dough, applying toppings and working large 6 rotating shelf pizza oven
Ensure great presentation for each order
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Occasionally doing dishes, sweeping/mopping, taking out garbage (these responsibilities are rotated amongst all cooks to provide an even workload.)

Requirements:

Able to follow instructions and read tickets
Must be able to move around the kitchen and multi-task
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work well in a team and work well under pressure
Great communication skills
Available to work on the weekends

Starting hourly pay is determined by experience.

Little Joey's is a family owned and operated pizzeria located in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois. We have been serving fresh and delicious Italian American dishes for over 20 years and offer carry-out, delivery, and catering services. We are looking for candidates who can be a team player and work well in a fast-paced environment. Our pizzeria is a great place to start if you are interested in the restaurant/hospitality industry!! Our flexible scheduling is a great way to enter the workforce and gain a variety of work experience, while still focusing on your education. Little Joey's is a fun and friendly place to work!
