This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with diverse diagnoses, including chronic illnesses, infections, and neurological issues, within a general medical and surgical unit. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide general medical and surgical nursing care
• Perform patient assessments and care planning
• Ensure effective inter-professional communication
• Utilize EHR systems, IV pumps, and wound care devices
• Manage heparin and insulin drips and IV therapy
• Float to areas in need within the medical units

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• IN State or compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a large hospital (600+ beds)
