Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide labor and delivery care across multiple hospital campuses. The Nurse will deliver high-quality patient-centered maternity services, ensuring compliance with facility policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' labor progress and vital signs to ensure safety and effective care.
• Administer medications, epidurals, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including obstetric and neonatal crises.
• Float between multiple campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) as needed, adhering to facility protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state nursing license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent and continuous labor and delivery experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Be willing to float to Avita Ontario and Bucyrus hospitals and work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
• Demonstrate experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Ability to arrive at the hospital within 1 hour if on call.
