Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Location: North Kingstown, RI – On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $22–$24/hour
Duration: 1–2 month temporary assignment, with potential to extend
Start: ASAP – Virtual interviews available

Job Summary

Seeking an  Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support billing, collections, payment processing, and account reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounts receivable or bookkeeping experience and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process billings, post collections, and maintain accurate billing records.
• Generate and send invoices and customer statements.
• Collect and accurately allocate customer payments.
• Record cash receipts according to established procedures.
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other discrepancies.
• Review outstanding balances and aging reports.
• Escalate account issues and aging balances as needed.
• Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or bookkeeping experience required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides.
• ERP experience preferred;  Oracle experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a larger corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
