Pediatric Hospitalist-Newborn Nursery

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced full-time Pediatrician to take on a leadership role as a Pediatric Hospitalist in a brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont, opening in early 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing community just outside Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves managing newborn care and collaborating with a nearby Level III NICU. Practice Info Brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery Anticipated 600 deliveries per year Average daily census of about 5 newborns Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitalist Sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Gastonia, 7 miles away Responsibilities Play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery Daily rounds on newborns Attending deliveries when requested Take call from home Stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care Compensation Competitive compensation package Many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Disability Healthcare FSA Dependent Care FSA and HSAs 401k plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Requirements Experienced full-time Pediatricianaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
