Summary Job Description Summary: As the Apprentice Bartender, you play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Beverage Department by ensuring bar areas are well‑stocked, clean, and guest‑ready. You assist bartenders and other beverage staff while learning core functions of responsible beverage service. Your attention to cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork directly contributes to a high‑quality guest experience and smooth department performance. Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture. Clean and sanitize assigned beverage stations and maintain cleanliness of bar tops, equipment, and any other areas assigned by management. Stock consumable and non‑consumable bar supplies, including garnishes and glassware. Assist bartenders with service and preparation while learning responsible beverage handling. Maintain accurate inventory records and follow proper procedures for liquor handling. Follow all applicable cash handling procedures and InfoGenesis POS protocols. Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position. Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 6 months of apprentice bartender experience and/or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team. Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety‑conscious work environment. Requirements At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal. Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company. Verify right to work in the United States. Work Cards Required based on property location or regional regulations. Physical Requirements Regularly push/pull up to 50 lbs. Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels. Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist. Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer. Frequently standing and walking. Ability to communicate using in‑person speech, radios, and telephone. Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person. Ability to distinguish between shades of color. Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
