People Operations Coordinator

Job Title: People Operations Coordinator Location-Type: Remote (East Coast Only) Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 6+ months (Contract) Compensation Range: $60-75/hr W2 Job Description: High-volume People Operations role supporting employee services, HR systems, and process optimization within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role supports the People Services function by managing high-volume operational HR tasks and employee support tickets. The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, thrives in startup environments, and can independently handle large workloads while continuously improving processes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Manage a high volume of employee tickets in a Jira-based system Perform HRIS updates and administrative tasks in Workday Conduct extensive data entry and spreadsheet management Provide employee-facing support and resolve inquiries with accuracy Execute repetitive operational tasks with exceptional attention to detail Support onboarding and contractor onboarding/offboarding processes Identify process improvements and automation opportunities using AI tools Assist with special projects as needed Requirements: Must-Haves: 2–5 years of professional experience Startup or high-growth company experience Extreme attention to detail and high accuracy under pressure Ability to manage high-volume workloads efficiently Strong organizational and communication skills Advanced comfort with spreadsheets and data management Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools Must be located on the East Coast Manage high volume of people tickets (Jira-based ticketing system) - this will be the majority of the daily work Handle administrative tasks in Workday (HRIS system) Perform data entry and work extensively with spreadsheets Provide employee-facing support (think customer service for internal employees) Execute repetitive operational tasks with extremely high accuracy Nice-to-Haves: Workday experience Greenhouse (ATS) experience Jira or similar ticketing system experience Background in People Operations or HR Operations Strong internal customer service orientation This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan.
