Employees earn 80 hours of vacation annually and can accrue up to 56 hours of sick time each year.We are currently seeking the following position:*** CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD ***JOB TITLE:MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANICJOB PURPOSE:Perform all management and administrative functions for maintaining the special/general purpose vehicle fleet, weapon systems fleet, organizational equipment, shop equipment, and vehicle maintenance buildings. Provide services dedicated to providing a safe and serviceable vehicle fleet that is critical to the success of the Silver Flag Exercise training site. Be fully trained, professional, and customer-service oriented. Ensure quality work performance in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Use computerized diagnostic tools and visual inspections to identify mechanical problems in vehicles. This includes checking engine performance, electrical systems, and other critical componentsOnce issues are diagnosed, mechanics repair or replace faulty parts and systems. This can involve working on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systemsConduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and engine tune-ups to ensure vehicles remain in optimal conditionCommunicate with customers to explain repairs needed, provide estimates, and advise on maintenance procedures. This includes keeping customers informed about new technologies and repair techniquesPerform safety inspections mandated by state regulations to ensure vehicles meet safety standardsMaintain detailed records of repairs and services performed, which is essential for tracking vehicle history and ensuring compliance with regulationsTrain and mentor junior mechanics or apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to enhance the overall competency of the teamREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Have three years of experience as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic in Fleet Maintenance or Fleet Vehicle Management  Must be able to pass a National Criminal History Check (NCHC)Have a current ASE CertificationHave a valid Driver's License Have a Class A Commercial Driver's License EDUCATION: Minimum of a high school diplomaEXPERIENCE: Have three years of experience as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic in Fleet Maintenance or Fleet Vehicle ManagementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:US Air Force Experience in Vehicle Fleet Management at USAF Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) or Redhorse Training Location Leo Tech, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and Drug-Free Employer.
