Job Summary:
The location is in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This is a position for a Physical Therapist Assistant working in a home health setting. The role involves carrying out treatment, implementation, and documentation of patient status for home health patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Candidates are required to bring their current license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of practice, graduated from a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), and current CPR certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience working under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a home health environment, familiarity with general computer use and functions, ability to self-manage online HR services and training programs, experience with electronic medical records such as HCHB or PointCare.
• Additional Information: The position involves home visits and requires reliable transportation, a current drivers license, and agency-required liability insurance. The territory to cover includes the Portsmouth and Kittery area.
