Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Options for 36 or 48 hours per week available. Weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio of 6:1.

Highlights:

• Travel nurse position on a progressive Medical Surgical unit caring for stroke and surgical patients
• First-time travelers welcome with 1 year minimum experience
• Telemetry central monitoring available 24/7 with dedicated monitoring technicians
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more
• 39-bed unit with daily census of approximately 30 patients
• 24-36 hour orientation with onsite module training included

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical or Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, stroke care (CVA), surgical patient management, IV therapy, and wound care
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the work location
