Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist

Associate’s Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred)
Current State of Nebraska Registered Dental Hygienist Licensure
Proficient in HIPAA compliance and dental safety protocols
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
Friendly, team-oriented, and committed to high-quality patient care

Job Description

Welcome patients warmly and make them feel comfortable in the treatment area
Discuss dental care plans and answer patient questions with empathy and clarity
Prepare and sterilize equipment for exams and procedures
Accurately take and record vital signs and medical histories
Perform preliminary dental exams and collect oral health histories
Evaluate patients for gum disease, cavities, and other oral health issues
Remove plaque, apply fluoride treatments, and perform dental cleanings
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Create dental impressions and take x-rays as needed
Assist dentists during procedures and exams
Strictly adhere to health, safety, and HIPAA regulations and office policies
