Key Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacist order verification using Epic within a hospital pharmacy setting
• Check floor stock, compounded sterile products, and anesthesia kits/trays prepared by pharmacy technicians
• Conduct VTE high-risk determinations for surgical patients
• Make pre-surgical phone calls to patients scheduled for procedures 7–10 days in advance
• Assist with next-day OR medication preparation and sterile compounding verification
• Utilize pharmacy systems including Epic and MILT as part of daily workflow

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Pharmacist license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Hospital pharmacy experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic order verification workflows
• Experience with sterile compounding and anesthesia medication preparation
