Locums Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Cape Girardeau, MO (MO or IMLC) Why This Role

Ongoing need, multiple providers accepted - locums-to-perm potential

Assignment Details

Start/end: Starts 10/1, ongoing (authorized through 4/1/2027)
Schedule: 2.5 clinic days and 2.5 OR days per week; takes call while seeing clinic patients, with an APP on-call to help; beeper call
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient and outpatient
Volume: 25-30 patients/shift
Setting: Level 4 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required
Support: APP on-call; will supervise APPs
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 60 days

Clinical Details

Required scope: Arthroscopy, total joint replacement (hip, knee)
Preferred scope: Total joint replacement (other), joint revision/repair (shoulder, hip, knee, other)

Requirements

Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (sports medicine)
Fellowship
License: MO or IMLC
ACLS, ATLS, BLS
Active DEA

Compensation

Rate negotiable, open to your number
Malpractice provided
Travel and lodging reimbursed
